WE DECLARE,
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Manitowoc Public School District to provide equal educational opportunities for all students, regardless of race, culture, or country of origin;
WHEREAS, the district is committed to providing a safe and effective educational environment for all students that is free of violence, harassment and discrimination;
WHEREAS, schools reflect the values of their communities;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education calls upon all individuals and institutions to renounce racist or discriminatory actions or speech whenever and wherever they arise in our community.
